Group Swim Lessons - Winter 2026 - Group Swim Lessons • Feb 2026 • 4:30-5 pm This session will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays over the course of the month. Lessons are twice a week. Swim lessons will be eight 30-minute lessons. Please make sure the swimmer does not eat 1 hour before lessons. What to bring to class:1. Appropriately fitting swimwear2. Goggles without a nose piece (optional)3. Towel4. Swim Diaper (if necessary)What parents need to know:1. On the first day of the session, try to get here a little early so the instructors can get your child assigned to the appropriate class.2. A normal class size is typically 1 teacher to 5 students. Depending on the skill level of the students this could fluctuate somewhat.3. Parents are welcome to sit on the bleachers on the pool deck during lessons. We ask that parents try to refrain from sitting next to their child lessons.4. Class sizes are limited, so if you think you will need to sign up for more than one session, we recommend doing that sooner rather than later. If you are not sure if your child needs more lessons, speak with your instructor, they should be able to help you determine the right course of action.5. Children under the age of 6 and non-swimmers MUST STAY OUT OF THE WATER BEFORE LESSONS START, unless they are supervised by an adult or by their swim lesson instructor.6. Students that are not members of the Community Center should not use the pool outside of their swim lessons. If a non-member would like to use the pool outside of lessons, they can purchase a day pass at the Front Desk.7. Communication between parents and their instructor helps a great deal with the student’s progress. Please never hesitate to speak to your instructor if you have any concerns regarding your child or if you have any questions about how best to help your child progress. In case of inclement weather the Aquatics Manager will inform all parents of schedule change. Adult Swim Lessons - Winter 2026 - Adult (Group) Swim Lessons • Feb 2026 • 7-7:45pm This session will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays over the course of the month. Lessons are twice a week. Swim lessons will be eight 45-minute lessons.
